Home Is Where the Hutch Is

(Click on pictures for a closer look.)

A hutched buffet next to your table says, "This is home."  It's where your mom kept her linens and tableware, and it served as a sideboard for the extras at those special meals--a pot of coffee, a pitcher of water, an assortment of pies all lined up for dessert.  The one in the upper photo has big drawers, little drawers, cabinets, and display shelves.  The top hutch section features two glass doors and a fixed pane of glass in the center (not shown).

The large hutch in the lower photo is a massive piece of furniture with a rich finish, textured glass, and porcelain knobs.  It has drawers, glass-doored cabinets, a display shelf, and a built-in bench.
